No Service fix for iPhone 4?

iPhone users valued their phone like gold,why? It's because of its high monthly plan for using unlimited Internet. Like here in Japan my regular monthly payment is ¥10,000 multiply to 12 months = ¥120,000 it's so expensive the yearly payment for my iPhone 4 bills can buy a 18k gold necklace.

That's why every time i broke it I fix it by my self I don't want to spend more money just to fix my phone so I'm here to share some fix for iPhone 4 no service error.

some of iphone users having this no service problem when they replaced iphone 4 broken parts replacing lcd digitizer, battery, housing and etc. and after reassembled there iphone and when it's boot up no 3g signal or no service and today im here to help you fix it.

There are two causes of this error:

1. Wifi flex cable

2. 3G capacitor

Wifi flex cable, to check the flex cable observe flex cable make sure that there is no scratch or any damage.

Disconnect the flex cable from the logic board and connect it again make sure that it connected properly.

Assemble the iPhone turn it on and do the airplane mode on and off. If still no changes still no service then it will be the 3G capacitor problem.

Fixing the 3G capacitor,

the capacitor is the tiny color blue or purple in the lower part of the logic board it's size is so small a tiny square shape look for it and try to check it by slightly push it using a tiny tool or even a toothpick, and if it's movable meaning it was the problem the capacitor is broken maybe you accidentally broke it while assembling the iPhone.

Here is you need to do to fix it:

- Turn off your iPhone 4 disconnect the battery from the logic board (note: it is better to use a magnet as the holder of the tiny crews that removed from the iPhone to make sure that all of the screws will never be misplace)

- Disconnect the wifi/gps flex cable from the logicboard, its the cable located at the left side,unscrew the two screws that holding it and the carefully disconnect it from the logic and pull it off carefully.

Then under that flex cable unscrew the one that hold the lower dock connector. Also on the right side of the dock connector remove the another one screw at the right side of the lower dock connector and then carefully pull it out.

- Once the lower dock has been removed the lower part of the logic board is now visible. Look for the tiny square thing its either color blue or purple in lower right part of the logic board.

Once you found it then check it if that tiny thing is movable it means broken and you need to remove that broken capacitor. After removing the capacitor it will leave a two point just like a broken bridge. Then solder the two points from the logic board.

Tools needed:

- solder iron, this must be the a small soldering iron.

- solder wire, this must be also a thin solder wire.

- magnifier or any thing that can zoom the tiny point needed to solder.

Words to remember:

If beginner on using solder iron it's better to practice first in a piece of paper because what we need is just one perfect solder a tiny drop of melted solder wire tiny as the dot of a ball pen

When melting the solder wire just apply a small amount of soldering wire no need too much soldering wire.

When soldering it is better to make it by putting the iPhone in a plane table and then the solder pointed to it 90degree and slowly move down the solder into the center of the two point.

And when your done soldering it check it make sure that there is no other component from the logic board is soldered other than the point of that need to be connected.

After making sure that the soldering process is well done assemble the iPhone4 again make sure that everything is connected wait for 5minutes.

After 5minutes turn on the iPhone and then wait for your signal will be back. I guarantee that this fix work 100% cause I'll do it everytime that there a friend come to me with a no service error.
